[:it]FKA Twigs Sad Day è il nuovo promo, short-film uscito di recente, un balletto di lame in stile arti marziali, tra le strade sfocate delle luci notturne di Londra, diretto da Hiro Murai (regista giapponese che vive a Los Angeles).

I protagonisti combattono, per le strade, si muovono con grazia e combattono in aria, fino alla scena finale, dove il CG e gli effetti visivi giocano un ruolo importante, “per evitare spoiler, date un’occhiata prima al video“.

FKA Twigs combatte con la spada per le strade di Londra nel suo nuovo cortometraggio dal tono epico, diretto da Hiro Murai. Il team di MPC VFX ridefiniscono il concetto “dare un taglio al mal di testa” (4:30) in una straordinaria scena VFX molto suggestiva.

Nel behind the scene di questa incredible scena rilasciata da MPC, vediamo come il team di VFX di MPC,  abbia usato la tecnica di tracking per traccare la scena, applicando i marker sul viso di FKA Twigs, e utilizzando marker per la gesione del movimento del parallasse dello sfondo.

Il team MPC guidato dal direttore creativo Michael Gregory, dal supervisore degli effetti visivi Toya Drechsler e dal CG supervisor Corinne DeOrsay, con grade di Ricky Gausis.

[:en]FKA Twigs Sad Day is the new short-film, promo released recently, a ballet of blades in martial arts style, between the location of blurred night lights streets of London, directed by Hiro Murai (a Tokyo-born filmmaker based out in Los Angeles).

The characters fight, around the streets, move gracefully, and fight in the air, until the final scene, where the CG and VFX play an important role, “in order to avoid spoiler, just let’s check the video first“.

FKA Twigs swordfights through the streets of London in her new epic short-film, directed by Hiro Murai. At the 4:30 mark, the MPC VFX teams redefine the concept of splitting headache in an amazing VFX scene.

In the behind the scenes of this incredible scene, released by MPC, we see how the MPC VFX team used the tracking technology to trace the scene, applying markers on FKA Twigs’ face, and using markers to manage the movement of the parallax of the background.

The MPC team was led by Creative Director Michael Gregory, VFX Supervisor Toya Drechsler, and CG Supervisor Corinne DeOrsay, with grade by Ricky Gausis.
