Blender Foundation ha rilasciato Blender 2,65

The Blender Foundation has released Blender 2.65: the latest version of the open-source 3D package in its current cycle – and according to the author, it’s the most stable release yet, with over 200 bugs fixed.

Major new improvements are the fire simulation, along with other improvements to the smoke simulation system, including a new flux force field, blending options, and support for collision object interactions.

The new (ish) Cycles render engine also gets an update, with support for the Sony Pictures Imageworks developed open Shading Language, some updates in the mesh modeling and editing toolset.
