New features for MetaHuman ready for UE5

Once again MetaHuman Creator amazes us, this time with the inclusion of other incredible new tools for the creation and management of digital characters.

This latest version introduces an exciting Mesh to MetaHuman feature, part of a new MetaHuman Plugin for Unreal Engine 5, as well as support for new character rigging, animation, and physics capabilities in Unreal Engine 5.

MetaHuman Creator also gets new hair and clothing options, along with additional facial animations and body poses.

The latest version of MetaHuman introduces a new MetaHuman Plugin for Unreal Engine, which offers an interesting feature that allows you to transform a custom mesh into a fully rigged MetaHuman.

The exciting new Mesh to MetaHuman feature in Unreal Engine, allows you to import external 3d models of faces, and go and set up custom expressions on your model.

There are also more hair, clothing, and preview animation options for MetaHuman Creator, as well as support for the new character rigging, animation, and physics features in Unreal Engine 5.

MetaHumans comes with a full face and body rig, ready for animation in Unreal Engine, keyed, or using a performance capture solution like our iOS Live Link Face app. There is also support in the works of solution providers ARKit, DI4D, Digital Domain, Dynamixyz, Faceware, JALI, Speech Graphics, and Cubic Motion.
