The Carlyle Group has closed a The Foundry sale agreement with HgCapital.
The Foundry, the UK-based VFX software company, with well-known compositing software Nuke, has a new owner: HgCapital.
On Wednesday at its London office, HgCapital closed an agreement to acquire The Foundry from The Carlyle Group for £ 200,000,000 (€ 277,562,000).
It was thought that The Foundry would be acquired by Adobe, but it didn’t.
